Good Overall, great key feel, a little cramped however for me Firstly I love the click feel on these keys! And the Keys have a little round indents in the that enhance key feel which I love. Its just a tad cramped for me but still usable. It does not fit well over my MacBook Pro M1 max 14 inch too well, just short on width and length by ever so much or it would have been ideal. I may get the bigger option since I love the keys so much in hopes I can use for extended typing sessions.

The best budget keyboard ever! The best budget keyboard ever!If you can't buy a Logitech MX Keys Mini this budget keyboard is for you.Good material, solid build, ergonomic, USB C chargeable, includes USB C cable and Bluetooth connection.

Very Nice This is perfect! Needed smaller, cuz I use a larger mouse pad. I sit in a darker corner, so lights up nicely. Sturdy, very well made for a keyboard.

Unpairs in seconds. RESOLVED RESOLVED: Charges via a wall charger not computer. Anyway, that is the way I solved it. Folks wrote back and helped with the other issues I had. If you have problems ask them for PDF documentation on this model.ORIGINAL: Love the size, but the dang thing will not stay paired. Less than a minute and it drops. Cannot find support help to rectify. Older MacMINI running 10.14.6

MUST BUY! Absolutely love simplicity of this keyboard. Works very well with my Mac M1 as I’ve had it set up with my WFH station! The key letters feels subtle and clicks are not loud. Spot on in what I was looking for!

Solidly built. Nicely laid-out. My favorite keyboard by far! I never thought I would find a keyboard to replace my Logitech K810, but this keyboard blows it away! It is also $60.00 cheaper than the Logitech MX Mini. However, they need to change the listing as it works perfectly with Windows too! In fact, if you look, it has all the right keys to work with Windows. It has a very easy, dedicated "PrtScrn" key in the upper right-hand corner.Underneath the Mac style delete (which is a Windows 'backspace') is a tiny abbreviation "del." You hit the fn key+the backspace and it does a true deletion. It also pairs with ease! I have a Windows 11 Desktop, Samsung Phone, and Apple iPad, so, now I have seamlessly paired it with all three. All you need to do is hit the fn key and the number which you have associated with whatever device you assigned to that number. It's smooth! If you're familiar with the Logitech K810 and K811, this is about the same size, but much more solid, The keys are beautifully spaced and feel perfect as well as being absolutely quiet. Before you spend a lot of money, give this keyboard a chance, you won't regret it!

I needed to replace my keyboard for my 2016 iMac, and the Magic Keyboard that Apple is now selling is not compatible with the iOS on my computer. This keyboard from Macally did the trick.

THE best keyboard I've ever had. Small enough without a lot of extra crap I'd never use, keys are crisp, adjustable backlighting, (mandatory), well priced, and excellent Macally cutomer service. I'm now a fan!

excellent feel & backlighting it's new, so more later - but my initial impression is, I love it. Paired easily, Very nice feel to the keys, the backlighting is very nice. I touch-type one-handed (p stroke), so appreciate the compact size, which should work well for most 2-handed folks as well. I wish the keys had the tactile positioning cues on F & J, but that's an easy fix with a dab of whatever to create them DIY.

Missing Important Delete Key! This keyboard is ALMOST perfect! The pros (for me):The keyboard is a little heavy, but I like that it feels sturdy and it also keeps it from sliding around while I'm typing, I don't think I would want to carry it around with me if that's what you're looking for, but if you don't mind the weight of it, it doesn't feel like it would break easily. The keys are the perfect size and amount of clicky, and they are comfortable. I have smaller hands, wear a women's medium size gloves, and my fingers are thin. I need a compact keyboard because I use a wacom pen tablet instead of a mouse and I need it to be close to the keyboard so I don't have to have my hands 3 feet apart! The backlight is fantastic, comes on as soon as you start typing, is bright enough, stays on long enough, does not turn off if you pause while typing like other keyboards I've read do, goes off when you're not using it to save battery, however, I do keep it plugged in. I didn't buy this because it was wireless, I really need the backlighting because it is often dark where I'm typing, and I do not like to have the overhead fluorescent lights on. I purchased the silver with white keys, and there is enough contrast to be able to easily see where the keys are even when the backlight is not on. Like before you start typing.I had no problem connecting it to my desktop computer at work using a random Bluetooth dongle that somebody had, thank goodness, because this does not come with its own dongle or cord to connect. You have to already have Bluetooth. The con:There is no delete key! I just can't get past the missing delete key in the top right corner. This keyboard is not a standard layout, I couldn't tell from the photo because I didn't compare it to the current keyboard I have, which is no longer available for sale. The top right corner has print screen instead of DEL, so I am constantly hitting print screen when I need delete. The backspace button says delete, but it's not. It's a backspace key, if you hold the FN key and backspace you can delete (i.e. stop everything, look at the keyboard, find the keys to delete). Well when you're working, you need to delete a lot without having to look at the keyboard! Especially in Excel, the backspace key doesn't work on cells. It is a constant source of frustration. On a normal keyboard layout, I don't have to ever look at the keys to just delete or backspace. It's also missing the control key on the right side of the spacebar, I probably could have relearned how to do my shortcuts in Adobe Photoshop if that was the only problem. It makes me very sad because otherwise it is perfect. I tried to get used to this for two weeks. It just isn't going to work.Bottom line: if you need this for work, or typing your novel at home, this is not going to work for you! If you're a hunt and peck typist or using with a phone or tablet, then it might work for you.

Backlighting is constant if plugged in. I have finally found what I consider the perfect keyboard. Using M2 16' MacBook Pro with Dell 27 inch monitor. I have 2 Apple bluetooth keyboards and a 1 ARTECH bluetooth and this Macally keyboard is, by far, the best. Keys are very well positioned and the travel on each key is such that you get a very positive tactile feedback. The keys only light up in one color (white) so if you are looking for a gaming multi-colored keyboard with the ability to change the color of lights, or different modes like flashing lights etc, then this keyboard is NOT for you. But, if you are a serious typist and want a keyboard that you can use in dim lighting, this is the best I have found. You can turn the lighting completely off or, select 1 of 3 settings (low to high, depending on how bright your environment is). To control the lighting simply press the F5 to lower or F6 to increase. Simple simple.Power is provided by a USB C connection and as noted above, if you simply keep it plugged in, the backlighting on the keys stay lit for a very long time. I think there is a timeout of the lights if no activity for several minutes, but, in using the keyboard day to day, I have never had it turn off. So that is great. Had a ARTECH keyboard and lights went out after about 15 seconds, so you were constantly having to hit a key to turn the lighting back on. This even it it was plugged in. But not so for this keyboard. It stays lit during my entire session. Finally, this is a true Mac keyboard. All the keys (Command, Control, Option) are in exactly the right position. Although you cannot adjust the angle of the keyboard, the angle is preset and at least for me, is in the perfect position. The battery life is probably not the greatest in that if it isn't plugged in and you have the lighting set to the max level, the battery only lasted about 8 hours. But this is plenty of time if I need to unplug it for any reason. Again, for me, the easiest is to just leave it plugged in to a USB port on your computer.Would give this 10 stars if I could. PS - not sponsored in anyway. Just my options after using for 3 weeks.

Pretty great thus far I’ve had now for several month and haven’t needed to charge it yet. As long you turn the backlight all the way down it holds a charge for a long time. Works like a charm and is light weight. My one complaint is I wish the keys were placed exactly the same as they are on the Mac keyboards but they aren’t.

Excellent Keyboard You can't get a better keyboard for this price. It is good quality. Not cheaply made. The backlit keys look sharp and the level of light is adjustable. It synced up to my mac with zero issues. best of all is the feel of the keyboard. The keys are firm but not too firm. So impressed with the quality. I think this is way better than the wireless keyboard from Apple that I had and almost a 1/3 of the price. 5 star for me.

Used Macally products since 2006 ... I have used Macally products since 2006, and ave never been disappointed. Great small-footprint keyboard. A little quieter than the Apple Magic Keyboard. But the BACKLIGHTING makes the difference. Keet it on one of the lower illumination settings, and battery life is fine.

Constantly dropping the signal I was trying to use this as a wireless BT keyboard with a Mac Mini M1, but it would frequently drop the BT connection and getting it to be even semi-reliable during use required restarting the computer. That gets old fast. Returned this KB and went with the Apple Magic which is better but still subject to the same issue occasionally, enough that I have to keep a wired keyboard handy for logins.

Cool, compact keyboard Love this keyboard - very sleek-looking and compact (without the number keypad that I don't need). Paired easily by BT, too. It does go to sleep automatically if you don't use it for a while, but you can re-awake it quickly by pressing any key a few times.

Worked for a short period, but then was no longer usable... I thought this was going to be my solution for a mini bluetooth keyboard solution for my limited space workstation in my bedroom. Especially with the addition of the backlit keys. But, low and behold, this keyboard still succumbed to the same exact issue othe bluetooth keyboards that I had purchased, which was random keys being pressed without any contact what so ever. Making it impossible to use. I considered using the registered warranty through Macally, but studied the keyboard with the others that I had purchased and returned, and it seems that they have all been manufactured to similar standards. So I am down to either looking into the Logitech MX mini or just an Apple product at this point...

Nice keyboard Just right for me..I love the feel of the small keyboard. Easy to take with you wherever you go. It just easy to install. Plus the light up keyboard makes it even easier to read under low lights in the room. Great value for the money.

Great battery life and Connectivity I wanted a portable and easy to use external keyboard for my laptop because some of my keys stopped working and I was not disappointed! I have been using this for about 2 months now, and I am so happy with this! The keyboard is backlit and has degrees of lighting so that you can choose how bright you want it to be. The battery life is amazing and it connects to my device as soon as I switch it on! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

Poor Battery Performance The keyboard overall is pretty decent. The keys have a nice click to them albeit they are a little loud if you mash when you type. My biggest issue is the battery. It barely makes it through an 8 hour day without needing a charge. I have to stop using it and switch back to my laptop keyboard in the afternoon. Would be nice if this could at least keep a 10-12 hour charge.

BUY IT - SO WORTH THE MONEY!!! I am thrilled with this keyboard. I was paying upwards of $80 for a used one on ebay that was the same as this except for the brand name because I couldn't afford new. Was gettin ready to order my third because they broke after 5 years or so when I came across this one. The company even sent me an email about six weeks after I registered it asking if I was pleased with my purchase and just checking in to make sure it was working fine for me. I'm so happy with this purchase!

Great Keyboard but remember to turn it off! I am a music producer and lately have been doing as much work on the ipad as my main studio Macs. I have other Macally keyboards on my studio Macs and i love them. So I went for this one because it is just the right size for backpacking an ipad, keyboard, and midi controller for working during travel. What i didnt expect was that after receiving it i now keep it on my end table by my couch next to my ipad and reaching over to use it with my ipad has turned my ipad into a reason not to ever go upstairs and sit at a computer. Among the features i like are the keyboard shortcuts that let you lock the ipad screen, go to the homescreen, etc straight from the keyboard without having to memorize more complex keyboard shortcuts. The keys feel good, the keyboard is sturdy, backlit keys are a bonus but not something i use all the time….So far the ONLY reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that unlike all of my other Macally keyboards this one doesnt seem to sleep when not in use, so i suspect if i forget to turn it off when i close the ipad it will run its battery down on its own. This was kind of surprising to me because my larger Macally keyboards last for months on a charge and sleep when not at the computer and wake when pressing a key. Not a big deal, but also related to another selling point in my mind for this one - internal rechargeable battery, no constantly buying AAA or AA batteries as with many competitor brands. Even so, this is not an every day - all day keyboard so i’ll just turn it off when not using, easy enough. But so far I’ve become a major fan of the Macally brand in terms of bang for the buck and quality.

Needs Work Comparing this keyboard to the last one I had, which was from a different company, I'm only slightly ok with it. It works and the backlight feature is good, but the keyboard has flaws. The battery life is almost nonexistent. Plan to just leave it plugged in for the duration since the battery life is only good for a couple of hours, if that. Another issue is that once it goes to sleep, you have to remember that the first key you strike when writing won't even count and you then need to go back and add the first letter of the sentence. My last keyboard had a sensor and knew when you were going to start typing. Oh well.
