No more USB Dongle to lose! Get a Bluetooth connected keyboard and mouse! I recently started a new job where I have to use a MacBook Air Laptop. I'm one of those folks who wants a full-size keyboard and external mouse (not a trackpad). I had a Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combo that connected via USB-A that was both Mac and PC compatible. I used it for a few weeks but soon learned that it's pretty helpful to have a Mac-specific keyboard in the long run. [for me, it came down to the copy/paste keyboard shortcuts]I started looking around and was astonished to see the cost of the Apple Keyboard and Mouse products. When I found this product for the price, I thought I'd give it a shot. I was very pleased and would recommend these items for several reasons:Design and Build quality: The aluminum body of the keyboard is way more than I expected. It has a premium feel that I wasn't seeking, but enjoy. It's a full-size keyboard with a 10-key numeric, which I love. I appreciate the keyboard's design, especially the key height and responsiveness. Unlike some other brand models I've used, the keys here are comfortably low-profile, making typing more ergonomic and enjoyable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the feel and functionality it offers.Sound: The keyboard is not overly crunchy or loud; comparatively, it's on the quiet side, but it's not silent. I have used many keyboards that are much noisier than this one, but, if I were on a conference call and typing while not speaking, I would hit the mute button. The mouse, however, is pretty silent. No sharp clicks from the L/R buttons. For me, that's very desirable. If you're looking for a mouse with more audible feedback, this one may not be for you.Ease of Use & Connectivity: The set was as simple to connect as any Bluetooth headphones. Once I connected the keyboard/mouse combo via Bluetooth for the first time, I never needed to adjust, search, or reconnect. I've been using the set for about 3 months and I haven't encountered any lag or connection issues.Charging: ***Micro USB Charging*** I was surprised to see that these items are charged via micro-USB (see pic). USB-C is now the norm, so this is not super convenient in my cable management setup; I would much rather have the now-standard USB-C charging connection that I use for almost all of my other devices (except, of course, the iPhone). But honestly, I have so many extra old micro-USB cords in my cord collection box that it was not an issue for me.Battery Life: The charge on each of these has been between 2-3 weeks. The mouse loses charge faster than the keyboard. An incredible usability function that I really appreciated was that the devices can be used while charging. For example, one day I shook my mouse to wake up my computer an nothing happened. Eventually, I realized it was because my mouse was dead. But instead of having to switch to using my laptop keyboard and mouse (for me, personally highly undesirable), I was happy to learn that I could use my mouse while plugged into the micro-USB power cord. I let it charge while I used it and then some extra time after work. I don't know what the charge times are, but I've not encountered any noticeable issues with them.Overall Experience: I'm extremely happy with this product and would recommend it, especially for the price.Comparison with other products: I am not a native Mac user. I'm not able to compare this to other premium Mac products. For me, as a long-time PC user, I'm extremely happy to add this to my desktop setup and would recommend.
Nice addition for the MacBook Pro 16! Was looking for a BT keyboard with num pad and a true mouse in Space Gray to match the Mac Book Pro to replace and older set of Apple refurb 1st gen magic keyboard and trackpad that I was tired of replacing the batteries. This fit the bill and was a little under half the cost of the Apple refurbs I had. There were cheaper as well as more expensive options but in reading the specs that this was mostly an aluminum base build I felt it would be sturdy and it is relatively so and it's nice and thin. It's also relatively quiet. The mouse is a bit small but does not affect my use of it. I also have a Logitech MX Master on my desktop and this is about half the size of that. All in all a recommended buy.
Set up was very easy. The mouse “clicks” are silent. The keyboard is great. I love that I can charge both keyboard and mouse and the charge last for some time.
I ordered it not realizing its limits - I'd like to be able to use it in a room away from my base computer on my remote TV screen for web browsing. Other than that, close to perfect.
great built and material quality. Slim and sleek, great feel. 3 stars because switching from the macally wired to wireless is a big difference to me. With blue tooth, the consistency isn't that great. I type fast so the wireless option seems to miss letters from time to time, or create double letters, the space bar won't make a space, so I spend time having to go back and re-type, or slow down. Wired options seem to be much better, but I chose less wire-clutter this time. So I'll stick with it.

I'm glad I got it, It's good hardware. Charge on the mouse doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, so I have to set a reminder about that, but otherwise no complaints.

Keyboard and mouse work and feel as expected. In all honesty I have never used a Mac keyboard or mouse so I can only compare this to pc equipment we used at work. I would purchase this equipment again and recommend to friends. I am happy with this product.

A great wireless keyboard and mouse pair. Highly recommend.
Keyboard works well to jump between two computers but not the mouse. It doesn't switch and your left disconnecting from one computer only for it not to connect to the other. So for the reason I bought it, it failed. However, the keyboard and mouse as a one computer unit is nice. Overall, don't bother if getting it for the purpose of switching seamlessly between two computers.

The keyboard is excellent. Switching between three different computers is a breeze. However I still have this little herd of mice. If you could get a mouse to follow the keyboard around, that would be the bomb!
Everything seemed to work fine, and was getting used to the touch of the keyboard. BUT: for some reason, some of the keys stopped responding. No, not battery. Lucky, I still have me original "wired" keyboard to utilize. Mouse seems to be working fine. Have your keyboard on charge and will turn it on to the system later to see if it continues to have problems.
The keyboard is solid and a good price. The mouse is not on par with Logitech or apple products in feel and function. The mouse has been set aside at this point. Maybe e-waste or a travel item, not decided yet

Not worth it. Several times the mouse would connect, but not the keyboard, and the other way around. Or I would be using the mouse and it would suddenly disconnect. This has never happened with any other Bluetooth device before, so it is not a computer problem - it’s this cheap setup with macally. You get what you pay for. Bite the bullet and get the real one from the Apple Store - you won’t be disappointed.
It's an okay keyboard. The fn keys are backwards and key remapping is questionable. I got it because using the laptop keyboard has messed up my posture and I get numbness in my right arm. I hate that my finger muscle memory is different from the laptop keyboard, but that's better than posture-induced shoulder pain. I tried using it with my windows laptop - functional but there's a lag and it's no good for video games.
It was very simple to connect to my Mac. Sleek look and comfortable. Highly recommend.
