The Macally is much lighter in weight than my iMac mouse that came with my iMac. The reason I got the Macally is because the plug to charge the iMac mouse, is located on the bottom of the mouse. I have no idea why MAC did the design like this. It makes no sense to me, because to charge my iMac mouse I can't use it while it charges because the plug is on the bottom of the mouse. So I got the Macally and its working great. Also its much lighter in weight; the iMac mouse is so heavy its really frustrating to me as graphic design artist who uses the computer a lot. My hands hurt from the iMac mouse, I really do not like the MAC mouse at all. I cant believe Apple designed this thing like this, horrible design to say the least. - Macally is almost a little too light in that it slides quickly on the mouse pad. However its much user friendly for me so far. All I had to do is plug it right into my iMac and it began working immediately. I'm really happy with this purchase. I am leaving a review because I know there has got to be a lot more people out there frustrated with the iMac Apple mouse design. ~ Sanura
This product is not compatible with MacBook Air as it claims it is in the product description. I’m really disappointed. The product should have stated that it is not compatible with certain versions.
I have a chrome book and a Mac and this mouse works great with both. I’ve been using it for a while now and it has not had any problems whatsoever. Feels good in my hand and it’s easy to move around.
Great simple cheap mouse. Bought this because I hate my apple mouse than came with my Mac. I needed a scroll wheel and something a bit larger for my hand. Plugs in the usb and it’s ready to use.
This is the second Macally mouse I bought-my cat killed my first one by knocking over a glass of water on my desk. I know better, but I had a blond moment(I was blond before my hair went grey). Anyway, I like the way they work and how it fits into my hand. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a new mouse.
Paid fie a new one, received a returned one with the prior buyer's name and address sticker still on the box. Not good business. As far as I can tell, it works.
This mouse is perfect size and simple. It doesn't make a clicking noise when you right click(which is nice), glides accurately, toggles up and down smoothly.
Mom's old and her wireless mouse died. Couldn't get her to pair the new wireless mouse on her own so I bought this plug in. Now she has back up incase the other one dies. She's happy. I'm happy. Basic mouse for a great price. No frills.
Replaced an old trackpad with this mouse. Decided to go with a less expensive wired one for an older Mac that only gets used a few times a month. This mouse is simple and easy to plug and play. Has good motion and fits the hand well.
After years of using expensive Bluetooth technologies I decided I’d rather never sit down to a dead mouse that needs to be recharged. This mouse works great (I got a $6 converter to plug it into my Mac). I feel idiotic to have ever paid for a fancier mouse or magic pad: this thing plugs in, works, has a pleasing scroll wheel (I can’t believe I’ve settled for tech without the scroll wheel!), and the ‘click’ feeling / sound is extremely pleasing. 100 stars.
I had an old mouse, increasingly damaged, with an old computer. Eventually it was very hard to get the mouse to work, but I thought it was something else causing problems --- it finally occurred to me to get a new mouse first, and this works SO well! What a relief! Thank you!
This is exactly what I was looking for: a simple, reliable, corded mouse that "just works." And it does, very nicely, with my Mac Air. Great product and value.
I have an older version of this mouse that I got years ago that still works great, so naturally I ordered a new one for my new laptop. This one's even better as now they've made it so that the clicking is very quiet.
I had another Macally mouse very similar that I liked better because it had a lower profile and fit my smaller hand better. It is unavailable or discontinued so I got this one. They both work well, I just liked the feel of the other one better.
I'm not sure what to say. It's incredibly lightweight. It's functional. It performs mouselike actions when hooked up to a computer which supports mice. It fits my hand reasonably well. And its signature feature: the scroll wheel lights up, which is either an attractive design element or a result of it being largely a hollow plastic shell, allowing the tracking light on the bottom to shine through to the top. Either way, it was about $15, so I'm fine with it.
