YES IT IS RECHARGEABLE. So far so good. A little noisy. Good size if you have a mouse and trackpad like I do. Its a litte "clickety clackety" but not that bad. Certainly no where near as noisy as logitech. Just got it. AND IT IS RECHARGEABLE in 2024. So, if that's something you want to take a look at, I'm letting you know (I posted a question and half said yes, and other said no). I hope to pair with an ipad as well as the mac mini as advertised. I prefer wired over wireless, but the rechargeable was the dealmaker. We'll see if it lives up to as good as wired.
Great battery life It’s easy to adjust to, connected via Bluetooth to my MacBook easily, and the battery lasts a good while. clicking the buttons is pretty loud so that part I don’t like as much, but it’s fine.
AWESOME! This keyboard is worth double what I paid. Feels hefty, great build quality, awesome feel, connected easily, holds iPad very nicely... It's the best!
compact and easy to use perfect for traveling and on the go use, easily connected to my macbook pro, and love the light feel of the keys!edit: battery life does run out very quickly; i assumed it turned off on its own after periods of inactivity, but new batteries were completely drained out after a couple months. Only solution is to turn it off after every use, which is a bit of a hassle!edit2: stopped working entirely lol
Review after using for several months Review after using for several months:I like this keyboard, so I bought two of these. The main problem this keyboard has is the battery life. It needs the battery replacement every 3-4 months.Previous Review:I bought this keyboard to replace my Magic Keyboard. This review is for those looking for a keyboard similar to Magic Keyboard. What I like most is its design, very similar to the Magic Keyboard, and it types smoothly. Despite trying others in the same price range, this one stood out. It connects to multiple devices seamlessly. Transitioning to this keyboard is effortless. If you're considering buying this keyboard, go for it!
Good quality product, amazing customer service I was super excited to receive this keyboard but unfortunately it arrived with some key caps broken. I got in touch with the company’s customer service and they mailed me replacements within 3 hours. It arrived in the mail from Canada in a few days. I am very satisfied with their quick response and willingness to help. The keyboard itself is sturdy, good quality. I can’t speak for the battery life yet but it was refreshing to receive the batteries in the set. The keys are nice to the “touch” and make no noise. It was very easy to connect to my devices.
Same size as Mac Air 13" keyboard I have a 2014 13" air and two of the keys on my keyboard stopped working. My computer is considered 'obsolete' and cannot be repaired (plus I don't want to throw $300 into a 8 year old laptop) I wanted a keyboard that would fit directly over my current keyboard so as not to take up extra space. This fits exactly over my keyboard and lets me type as if I'm still using a laptop. Connecting via bluetooth was super fast and easy and in two months it's only lost the connection twice. Turning it off and back on fixed it in 3 seconds. I've noticed a double stroke a few times, but maybe a couple times a week and I use it at least an hour or two a day. It has more spring than the built in air keyboard but less than what I think of as 'traditional' keyboards. It's a fantastic product.
Great for multiple devices I love this keyboard! I got it to use with multiple devices. I use a mechanical keyboard during the day but wanted a quieter keyboard for the evenings, and this is definitely a quiet keyboard.- It comes with batteries so you can set it up straight out of the box. Set up was very fast, for all devices.- Switching between devices takes only a second or two. I have it connected to 2 laptops and my iPad.- I was worried about making typos with a small keyboard, but the only adjustment I had to get used to was the FN key that's on the bottom most left, where the Ctrl usually is on other keyboards. Once I got past that, typing experience is just as good as with a regular keyboard.- It comes with a stand that you can rest your phone or tablet on, that folds underneath! Maybe I missed it in the description but it was a very pleasant surprise.- Lightweight and portable.I just received it recently so I can't speak for battery life or longevity yet, but so far I have zero complaints with this keyboard. Highly recommend if you need something portable, quiet, and intend to use with multiple devices.
Great “little” keyboard for the money It’s a little smaller than I expected (my fault though, didn’t look at the measurements) but it’s a great little keyboard. Absolute breeze to connect and for those complaining that the keystrokes are too loud, must have an issue with noise in general as it’s quieter than any PC keyboard I’ve used. Would recommend if you need a keyboard that you have to connect via bluetooth.
Great little keyboard A very nice surprise to get that little keyboard. The parcel arrived very quickly and in one piece ;)The keyboard has an optimal size for my desk with 3 computers and multiple displays.I also need English and Hebrew letters. So that little marvel does the job. I can now connect my Linux, MAC Mini and Windows computers with only one keyboard. (I use QWERTY Hebrew).Note: A+Thank you
This keyboard is amazing. I love it. As you can see I broke mac’s keyboard and I really needed to finish an assignment so I purchase This keyboard, that was the first thing i saw on Amazon and the order was made at 12 am and at 10 in the morning it was at my door. The package was safe and secure. It was really worthy. This keyboard is very easy to connect with any device, iPhone, Mac or iPad. With just one touch you can switch from one to the other device and that is really useful. The key caps are sensitive and very comfortable to use. I really love it.
Highly recommended Have been using it for a month, with either my MacBook and iPad Pro. Just so much better than I expected. It has a neat and beautiful look. It is super portable. The key stroke is so much better than MacBook. The only I hate is this is not rechargeable. (I don’t like using AAA batteries)
Great Little keyboard!! Great keyboard!! Perfect for my desk space. I was easy to set up and get started. Connects to three devices. Outstanding purchase for the price point.
Teclado de PC Thank you very much for sending the keyboard to my PC, I am pleased and I recommend it is practical, easy to use, you can take it wherever you want, thank you very much again.
Easy light and portable I have been using for about two weeks. Works perfectly for what I need! If you are using the keyboard before apples butterfly keys you will not need to readjust to typing on this bad boy.
Great, compact, types well I like a lot about the product. It's compact and works well with no delay, and I type fast so that is good. They are solid scizzor-switch keyboard and feel great. Only one flaw is if you don't use it for 10 minutes, it turns off. Amazing for battery life but it can take several keystrokes until it registers and you can type again. Otherwise, it's a great deal, can attach to three devices, and while it was meant for the Ipad I use it as a primary keyboard for my home office.
Useful and Value for money keyboard I bought this online from Amazon as my old wireless keyboard from apple had gone kaput. checked the reviews and bought it. Having tried it for a couple of weeks now, here are my observations. It is a sturdy, compact keyboard. works reasonably well. The "A" key gives a few issues of mis-typing once in a while. Tactile feel is ACCEPTABLE (could've been better). It connected quickly and quite seamlessly with my MacBook Pro. I have not tried it with multiple devices yet.Since I do not use it for more than an hour a day most times, I guess I'm not very critical. it works reasonably well and does its job and so I'm giving it 4 stars.
I work to be passionate regarding reducing waste so I try to do the Repair step before I Repurpose. But I needed a reliable, attractive and affordable backup to my original Apple Mac bluetooth keyboard - the "y" key had started to double-click. Fortunately, I was able to very carefully repair my primary keyboard (yeah) but I REALLY, REALLY do enjoy and love my new Macally keyboard as an always ready, reliable and beautiful backup! Thanks to the Macally Team!
Keyboard is great up until It randomly changes from Mac to Windows. What do I mean? My keyboard has the lock/printscreen button in the top right. It worked perfectly for my Mac until a few days ago. Now it only locks my windows Remote Desktops which I run from my Mac but the Mac lock stopped. I have to do some searching just to figure out because this website says its supposed to be "automatic" selection between Mac and windows. Unfortunately I didnt keep the manual.
I've been using an Apple keyboard for years. When I purchased a new computer I got this Macally keyboard instead. It works equally well! Very happy with it.
It is replacing the previous one after I spilled 16oz of coffee into the keys. Not good. No fault of the keyboard I got the new one in the mail put it on charge but never pared it with my mac-mini. I'm still using a wired MACALLY keyboard so I guess I like your stuff.
The keyboard travels well. I link it to my phone to take more robust notes during meetings. Gets people's attention and seems less intrusive than a laptop.
Too difficult to charge the keyboard -- it remained flashing red after 24 hours -- and constantly had to redo the bluetooth connection. Absence of backlit wireless is a problem. Even though they are more expensive my experience with Macally left me longing for Logicom
I appreciate the similarity to the keyboard on my laptop. I could've sworn it's supposed to be backlit but I was too lazy to reach out to get it corrected; it functions. I guess the backlighting is just for aesthetic purposes so not the biggest deal but i was a tiny bit disappointed when I realized it does not light up.
love it I rated this as a 4 star because its not ergonomic. However, for what the design is, a small compact wireless keyboard I love it. I travel a lot for work and this is perfect. allowing me to connect up to 3 devices via Bluetooth at a time. and a simple fn +# and you can toggle between the 3 devices. I can multi task even better with out taking up desk space with multiple keyboards.
Great product, great value This keyboard showed up quickly, matched my computer, was easy to connect and works perfectly! And the price was so great. Very happy customer.
Does everything an Apple keyboard can do. Links to computer or from one computer to another quickly. Set up straight forward. Excellent battery life. Works as well as my old Apple keyboard but has rechargeable batteries. Nice feature. One caveat. The Command key didn't work. But the Option key seemed to be doing what the Command key should do. Spoke with Tech Support and couldn't solve problem so they sent me a replacement for free.A few days later I was experimenting on the keyboard option screen in the Settings menu. I notice that the Command key could function as either a Command or Option key. It was set to Command. I switched it to Option and it starting functioning as a normal Command key! The Option key revered to it's normal function. So I now have two perfectly functioning keyboards.
The touch feel is amazing What I really like is the responsiveness and the touch feel of the keys. I have used a bunch of keyboards in my career but must say this is one of the most comfortable ones that I have ever used. The fact also that the unit has an internal battery that you charge via a cable. I’m grateful that it doesn’t use batteries that you have to replace often.I charged the unit up and haven’t had to recharge it yet and it’s been two weeks. Now I don’t use it heavily and make sure I turn it off after each use, but still the time between charges is surprising me.The product is light and fits well into my backpack when I take it with me.Overall I love it.
Really wanted to give this 5 stars, but... ...the battery life is somewhat of a joke. I probably use the keyboard three, maybe four, hours a day. By the next day, it has to be recharged, and it is VERY slow to recharge -- like four hours! Two major drawbacks. But it's way better than my Logitech which was leaving annoying hieroglyphics on my iPad screen. No issues like that with the McNally. And having poor vision, the backlit feature is a big help. (Maybe that' what uses up the battery so fast?) Easy to type on with only minimal noise.
