I love the product but I decided to return it because I’m not going to be using my iPad as a typing device. You should have the returned product in your hands. Buying experience was great and I will return with more business.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

It's a fantastic keyboard and I like the ability to change the orientation of the tablet, but the looseness of the hinge system makes it far from durable and too floppy to use as I expected on a daily basis. It is, however, a great configuration for more upscale uses such as taking the tablet out of the house and looks very professional. It isn't a protective case so much as it is a productivity case so I have resolved not to use it as a daily case for when I'm kicking about the house, watching videos or reading.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

Keyboard is great quality — feels thick and strong! Worth the price for how compact and nice it is! Lasts a long time and provides a safe space for the iPad and the pencil! The case magnet holds it securely in place!

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

The keyboard quality is really good, I really like that they didn't try to include a trackpad (I have another that included a trackpad and it's horrible) and this is perfect for typing out a quick (or even extended!) email, and for everyday typing tasks it's a really REALLY useful tool! The weight is about as much as the iPad mini, which feels solid but also means you're dedicated to this being a mini laptop. It does protect the screen but the magnetic clasps don't feel strong enough to protect it from a drop. So the value for money really depends upon your need for a small factor keyboard. That being said it's a really nice keyboard for light duty for your Mac mini if you don't want to carry a full laptop.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

I wanted a keyboard that would be practical to use and keep the iPad safe. I didn't trust the ones that necessitated removing the iPad to set the keyboard up or risked the iPad sliding out when carrying it around. This one is perfect for me. The case is very solid and firmly holds the iPad. If the tablet is off its stand it has an adequate case on it at all times. I was disappointed when Logitech quit making keyboard cases for the Mini but I think I like this one even more!

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

I have used Macally products for well over a decade, and I have always been impressed with the quality of their products. This keyboard case for my iPad mini A17 is no exception. First, let me applaud the keyboard. The keyboard is simply amazing to use. While there is no backlight and no trackpad, there are no gimmicks and no cutting the quality on the keyboard. The keyboard is detachable, and the case is magnetic, allowing for positioning of my iPad both portrait and landscape. Do I miss the backlight? Not at all. There are not too many times I use my iPad mini on the road in the dark. Do I miss the trackpad? Not really. If I really need to do a lot of work, I can pair a mouse. Otherwise, my finger or Apple Pencil do great. The case itself is very sturdy, and has a nice wraparound with magnetic clasp that holds the whole package together. This is something sorely missing on most keyboard cases. The construction is solid, as I would expect from a Macally product. As I mentioned, the keyboard is excellent. The presentation is professional. The value is very good. And the total package, which even includes a USB-C cord of decent length. Great product.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

The keyboard is excellent in both quality and function. So far, it's been durable, and I think it's worth 5 stars. A lot of keyboard cases for the Mini have modified key layouts (the apostrophe, for example). This one has a full-size layout that's easy to type on, which I appreciate because I have big hands. The case is almost like two cases in one. You can remove the Mini from the keyboard and still use a lightweight bumper case. The magnet is strong, the orientation swap is awesome, and I like using it in portrait mode for typing. It feels durable enough to withstand a drop. My iPad feels well protected, and the Apple Pencil is held securely in place. In summary, I don't need to type on my Mini that often, but when I'm on the road, it's great I can draft an email on something better than my phone, it's far better than an on-screen keyboard. I've tried others that felt cheap by comparison; so far, this one is my favorite. 5 stars.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

This case/keyboard turns your iPad mini into a nice little laptop. Part of the cover behind the screen flips down to prop the lid up, so it's more like a Surface and less of a true laptop (the keyboard is connected by a flap instead of a hinge). The case is magnetic so it sticks to the cover, and you can rotate the iPad to sit vertical. The keyboard is nice. The keys feel good. Since it's so compact, a lot of the extra keys are a little on the small side. I wouldn't want to write a novel on it, but it's great for quick notes here and there. The keyboard goes to sleep when the lid is closed (so does the iPad). I've left it on for days and have not had to charge it yet.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

If you have an iPad mini you need this case. The Keys feel great and I love that it detaches and attaches magnetically. You can set it vertically or horizontally. Do not get one with a trackpad — it makes the keys way too small and places the space bar to the left of your thumb so you constantly hit the wrong button. This is the one for you! The keys feel great. The portability turns my iPad mini into my transportable workstation. The value for the money is excellent.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

I'm a long-time Apple Mac user and have had several Macally accessories. I've never been disappointed with any of their products. When looking for an iPad Mini keyboard and saw Macally offered one, I ordered it without hesitation. After using it for a few weeks now, I'm ready to write my review. I am a big iPad fan and have three of them in different sizes. They have almost completely replaced my computer in part due to having a quality keyboard available for writing. I've tried several different keyboards over the years and most end up being returned. The biggest issue is usually the key "feel". No such concern with this keyboard. The keys have a nice feel and rebound to them without feeling "mushy" as many iPad keyboard offerings do. There seems to be a slight texture to the keys as well. It may be a small detail but for some reason they feel a little better than a completely smooth surface. Once paired, it quickly connects to my iPad for subsequent use. This keyboard is charged using a USB-C cable unlike a lot of keyboards for iPads with a USB-C plug that still use a Micro-USB for charging. As for battery life, I've charged it once and have used it frequently over the past few weeks. The inner case securely holds the iPad and it detaches easily for non-keyboard use. It has a snug fit with good corner protection and allows for charging the Apple Pencil on the side. The closure flap attaches magnetically holding the Pencil in place. Unlike other options, the design of this case uses magnets to securely hold the iPad in either landscape or portrait orientation with no concern about it flipping over. The backside is two fairly rigid pieces with a metal hinge that securely holds at whatever angle you set it at for a comfortable view. This case is well designed and produced successfully. It ticked all the boxes I look for.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

I recently purchased the Macally keyboard case for the iPad mini 7, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The keyboard is compact, lightweight, and makes typing on the iPad mini a much smoother experience. The keys are responsive and comfortable to use for quick emails, note-taking, and general browsing. The case itself feels sturdy and provides good protection for the device while keeping everything slim and portable. One thing that could make it even better would be the addition of a small trackpad. While I understand that fitting a trackpad into such a compact case for the iPad mini would be challenging, having that functionality would really enhance productivity and navigation, especially in multitasking situations. Even without a trackpad, I find the Macally keyboard case to be a great accessory that balances convenience and usability for the iPad mini 7. Highly recommended if you want a portable typing solution for your device.

Wireless iPad Mini Keyboard Case for iPad Mini A17 Pro & Mini 6

I've been using this case/keyboard combo for a few weeks and it's considerably better than the older folio-style I used to have. THE KEYS — they actually move when struck. The micro-satisfaction of typing with real keys is cumulative. The delight stacks up. Next is how they handled portrait vs landscape. Your iPad is held either way by strong magnets. No slots or grooves — just flip and go. It's genuinely clever engineering. This thing charges via USB-C and lasts weeks. For iPad Mini users who want a real typing experience with solid protection, this checks every box.

This ipad case/keyboard is perfect! The space key is regular size and the keys are standard. I looked a long time to find this and am very happy with it. Hope this company continues to produce these for us ipad mini customers!
